Margaret hand spins her own wool and knits hats and scarves. She recently became a grandmother and supports her family through her work. Her quality knitting provides hope for the newest member of her family. Margaret is currently enrolled in a Lutheran sewing school in Kenya and is an active member at her Church.

Where we are in Africa

All VMA products are handcrafted by artisans from around Africa
in fair trade cooperatives managed by the Kenya Evangelical Lutheran
Church. VMA purchases all of our products directly from artisans in
these cooperatives and returns 50% of profits to improve their
businesses through investment in education, tools, machines, and
microcredit loans.
