Priscilla

priscilla.jpgPriscilla hand-spins wool on a homemade machine (left).  She knits hats and scarves in a cooperative with 30 other Kenyan women, all living in poverty.  These women are  extremely gifted, and praise God for the opportunity to share their work with you.  Priscilla has used a loom purchased by VMA to expand her business by producing wool rugs!

Fair Trade artists have ingeniously used the bulbous part of a small African gourd to fill with a wax candle.  Gourds have been hand-painted and carved in traditional African designs to offer you a unique decorative lighting alternative.  Orders come in assorted African designs shown. (4” wide - Do not burn while unsupervised...gourds can be flammable!)
