All VMA products are handcrafted by artisans from around Africa in fair trade cooperatives managed by the Kenya Evangelical Lutheran Church. VMA purchases all of our products directly from artisans in these cooperatives and returns profits to improve their businesses through investment in education, tools, machines, and microcredit loans.
