Priscilla

priscilla.jpgPriscilla hand-spins wool on a homemade machine (left).  She knits hats and scarves in a cooperative with 30 other Kenyan women, all living in poverty.  These women are  extremely gifted, and praise God for the opportunity to share their work with you.  Priscilla has used a loom purchased by VMA to expand her business by producing wool rugs!

This long-necked fair trade giraffe is made by street children in a rehabilitation project.  Recycled metal wire is formed into animal shapes and decorated with   African beads.  These street children need your help, and they offer you skillfully crafted artwork as a means for them to escape poverty.  (7” tall, Orders from colors shown: Let us know if you have a preference)
